ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF SHIP BOTTOM, COUNTY OF OCEAN,
STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AMENDING CHAPTER 2.68,
WHICH PERTAINS TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Borough of Ship Bottom introduced the above ordinance at its March 24, 2026 meeting. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Chapter 2.68 to revise the regulations relating to the employment of off-duty officers. The ordinance will be considered on second and final reading at the April 28, 2026 meeting of the governing body. The next Council Meeting will be held at the Ship Bottom Municipal building located at 1621 Long Beach Blvd., Ship Bottom, New Jersey, commencing at 6:30 p.m. Copies of all Ordinances are available at no cost at the Municipal Clerk’s Office located at 1621 Long Beach Boulevard, Ship Bottom, New Jersey, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
