Beach Buggy Permits

Where to purchase a Beach Buggy Permit:

• Borough Hall between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM (2nd Floor/Clerk’s Office)
• Weekends you may go to the Boat Ramp located on the bay at 11th Street, weather permitting from April to the last weekend of October.

Needed documents for Beach Buggy Permit:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Current and valid registration and insurance
• Payment of $50.00, cash, check or credit/debit card (service fee charged when using a credit/debit card.)
• Permits run January 2024-December 31st, 2024. 

Reminders

• State Drinking and Driving Laws apply to all areas- no open containers of any alcoholic beverages.
• Use only four-wheel drive vehicles on the beach.
• Lower the pressure of all tires. The softer the sand the lower the pressure needed.
