ELECTION INFORMATION

IF YOU ARE VOTING THROUGH THE MAIL —-Deadline to apply for a Mail-In-Ballot for the Primary Election is May 28th.

If you have misplaced or lost your Mail-In Ballot, please contact the County Clerk’s Office at 732-929-1253.

IF YOU ARE USING THE COUNTY BALLOT BOX —- You must do so no later than 8:00 PM.

March 25: Nominating Petitions Due for Partisan Candidates for June Primary Election (by 4:00pm to Municipal Clerk)
April 10: Political Party Declaration form for Primary Filing Deadline
May 14: Deadline to Register to Vote at Primary Election
May 28: Last Day for County Clerk to Receive a Mailed-Vote-by-Mail Application for June Primary Election
May 29: EARLY VOTING BEGINS (ENDS ON JUNE 2)
June 3: Deadline to Obtain a Vote by Mail Ballot for Primary Election-IN PERSON
June 4: PRIMARY ELECTION
August 27: Last Day a Primary Nominee can withdraw from November General Election Ballot
October 15: Voter Registration Deadline for November General Election
October 26: EARLY VOTING BEGINS THROUGH NOVEMBER 3 (10 SITES IN OCEAN COUNTY)
October 29: Last Day for County Clerk to Receive (by mail) a Vote by Mail Application for Nov. General Election
November 4: Last Day to Apply in Person for a Vote By Mail Ballot with the County (3:00pm deadline)
November 5: GENERAL ELECTION 6:00am-8:00pm
