The Borough of Ship Bottom has recently updated numerous parking and speed ordinances. To help awareness of the changes please see below list:

All are effective and enforceable:

  • 200 Block of 7th St. One Way East only
  • Stop signs: 7th and Shore Ave
  • Central Ave. Speed reduced to 30 MPH between Rt.72E and 28th
  • Central Ave. Speed reduced to 25 MPH between 3rd and Rt. 72 West

 

10.08.030 Parking prohibited:

  • No commercial vehicles, trailers (open or enclosed), nor construction equipment shall park at ANY time on Long Beach Boulevard.

 

10.08.040 Parking time limited:

Same as Construction hours*

No commercial vehicles shall be parked on ANY public street during the following hours:

  • after 7:00 p.m. or prior to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday
  • prior to 9:00 a.m. and after 7:00 p.m. on Saturday
  • all hours on Sunday
  • no such vehicles shall park for longer than 1 hour on the east or west side of Laurel Boulevard. (Plaza)
