Ship Bottom Beach Patrol

Swim Test 2012

Phase I

June 3, 2012 from 5-8 PM

St. Francis Recreation Center Pool in Brant Beach

          1.  Must be able to swim 500 meters under 10 minutes

Phase II

June 9, 2012 at 10 AM

Beach Patrol H.Q. 124 East 26^th Street, Ship Bottom

          1.  Run 800 meters/swim 800 meters under 20 minutes

          2.  Paddle 400 meters under 4 minutes

          3.  Run 100 meters/swim 100 meters/run 100 meters           under 3 minutes

• EACH PARTICIPANT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A PHYSICAL FROM A DOCTOR STATING THEY ARE IN GOOD HEALTH AND CAN PERFORM THE DUTIES OF AN OPEN WATER LIFEGUARD. NO ONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO TAKE THE SWIM TEST WITHOUT THIS DOCUMENT.  OPEN POSITIONS ARE LIMITED AND NO ONE IS PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN PHASE II OF THE TRYOUT UNLESS THEY HAVE SUCCESSFULLY PASSED PHASE I.
